After leaving High School, I attended The Learning Connexion after a brief stint at Massey University studying Fine Art.
The Learning Connexion at that time was based out of Erskine College, in Island Bay, Wellington. The tutors were down to earth, practical and inspiring. There were plenty of people to connect with and find your niche, and create.
The other thing that TLC enabled was exhibiting. At the end of each term there was a large student exhibition, which I regularly exhibited my work in. Many works sold at these exhibitions.
