I am an artist. Though more specifically a painter, just so I don't get lumped in with those people who use art as an excuse for stupidity.
I am a web-designer. Every now and then I pull out the laptop and write a few hundred lines of code.
I am a Christian. A Christ follower. Enough said.

"Art reflects the world around us. It is for that reason that I create. I do not see my art as paint on canvas, but a revelation into a new way of seeing things. Through my art I hope to seek out these truths which have since been forgotten and display it in a way which people can relate to. Art crosses the boundaries from real world to the imagination, a connection that many of us wish to see, but never able to recreate."
- Al Ingham (2007)
"I've lived in Lower Hutt all my life. I've traveled into Wellington every day since high school and so the harbor and its surrounding landscape has a huge influence on my work. I've been painting for about four years.
This work [Idealistic Series, 2004] brings up issues about all New Zealanders and how, if we are to be united, some rules have to be broken; and this then becomes idealistic."
- Al Ingham, CrossOver Exhibtion, 2005
